Realign . Restore . Recover
- Do you sit at a computer all day and suffer from neck & shoulder pain?
- Does manual work cause you pain and mobility problems?
- Do you have a Repetitive Strain Injury?
- Do you suffer from Head Aches or Migraines?
Remedial massage targets key areas of muscle soreness and tightness such as stiff necks, shoulders or sore lower backs. The techniques used penetrate the deeper layers of muscle tissue, where areas of tightness are released giving you greater joint mobility and reduced pain levels in your body.
Combined with in-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology to bring about pain relief to sensitive points in muscles, the depth and intensity of our treatments are tailored to your level of comfort and our goal is to help reduce pain whilst facilitating relaxation.
Techniques used are myofascial release, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage techniques and postural taping.
We assist in ensuring the body is able to function at its optimum level, free of what can be debilitating muscular pain caused by day-to-day activities, helping to correct and normalise the body’s muscles and soft tissues. We use skilled manipulation working out chronic underlying muscle tension — adhesions or “knots” and muscle restrictions in the muscle tissue which radiate or refer pain to various parts of the body) which can mimic many conditions and postural imbalances.
We address issues such as:
- Back and neck pain
- Jaw pain
- Tension headaches
- Frozen shoulder
- Muscle cramps
- Tennis elbow
- Muscular spasm
- Restricted range of movement
- Knots and adhesions
- Scar tissue
- Localised pain
- Referred pain areas
- Corrects problems in your body
Addressing Injury, postural or joint issues,
- Releases muscle tension and pain
Releasing trigger points, stretching and elongating muscles and breaking down adhesions.
- Increases joint mobility
Releasing muscle tension around joints, the range of movement in the joint can be increased.
- Improves posture

Why have it
Remedial massage is highly effective for those who have sustained injury at work through repeated movements (RSI) or positions that could be causing long-term postural changes that need correcting. As well as dealing effectively with a variety of musculoskeletal problems. remedial massage can also be used to help in the recovery from, and reduction of, the symptoms of many medical conditions such as
recurrent migraine, lower back, neck and shoulder injuries; some might have treatment post a whiplash injury, resulting from a car accident.
Massage can also be used in pre/post-surgery situations; prior to an operation, getting the muscles in peak condition will speed up recovery from post-surgical procedures. Post operation, the breakdown of scar tissue incisions lessens visible scars and prevents muscle atrophy and post burn scarring.
